The microPortal is a fully
functional Content Management System, customized to be used
by a treatment center or other health care facility.
Functionality has been tuned to support the interaction
between the facility, it's staff, and it's clients. A
complete web-based administration console is available for
the microPortal, making it easy to maintain even for
non-expert users. Features of the microPortal and the
hosting service include:
- News and articles which
they can be catalogued in two dimensions (topics and
categories).
- Event calendar including
optional front-page events display.
- Private message board -
only staff and registered members will be able to read
it.
- Download manager.
- Completely partitioned
off user database - each microPortal is its own
independant database for privacy and security.
- Total control over
theme/skin selection, meta-keywords, and other site-wide
preferences.
- "Sections"
area for non-article type content - i.e. more structured
content, like a list of therapists on staff.
- FAQ module ("How do
I make an appointment?", "Which insurance do
you carry?", etc.).
- Multiple admins can be
configured.
- Private Message system.
- Control over members
database.
- COPPA-compliant account
sign-up.
- A fully qualified
subdomain within eThera.net (i.e. youroffice.ethera.net).
- Email addresses at that
subdomain (which can forward elsewhere if so desired).
